Mission

The Mission of the college is to promote and provide an opportunity to the young students of the locality to pursue Higher Education. Before the Establishment of this college very few students were perusing Degree Education abroad and majority of young poor students, dropped after +2. Bijepur Degree College was established with an aim to provide Higher Education to those poor and rural students by adequate and proper management of the college and by initiating and implementing various projects for their all-round development. Our mission is to fulfil, to a considerable extent, the needs and requirement of the present generation through the course pattern carefully designed and framed by the University and through different U.G.C. sponsored projects. The records of our ex-students(Alumni) holding honourable positions in the society is a testimony to the fact that the institution has served as the ‘Lamp Post’ of the region.

• »To unveil the personalities of the Young stars in all aspects-Physical, social, intellectual, moral, spiritual and aesthetic through access to Higher Education.
• »To enable them be intelligent, learned, skilful, bold, corrigible, virtuous and rational.
• »To enable the young students be the instrument of socio-economic change and serve as bridge to transform the moral ideals and spiritual values from one generation to often.
• »To develop scientific awareness in the locality and movement against poverty, illiteracy and blind beliefs.
• »Development of natural power in the students in a spontaneous manner in a free atmosphere.
• »To realise the deeds and actions, the moto incorporated in our emblem "Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya".
